Political Communications
Regardless if you’re a hopeful candidate running for office or an advocacy organization fighting for
Success is the number one goal for events whether it be a one-off event, a weekly series, or an annual festival; however, not all events define success the same way. Whether you’re looking to beat your ticket sales from the previous year, hit an attendance goal, or expand your event’s market reach, I offer tailored event public relations support ranging from one-off services to a fully integrated campaign meeting your goals and staying within your budget. Your event isn’t just a business opportunity for us, it’s a partnership we invest ourselves in.
How I Can Support You
Communications teams for events and festivals can range from teams of one all the way to teams of 10 or more. I’ve personally been on both sides: one where I was the sole communications person for an organization balancing media efforts for multiple initiatives PLUS an upcoming event as well as the other side of having a team to divide and conquer event promotions and publicity. I understand the challenges of both.
Are you a one-person communications team that needs an extra pair of hands or wants to increase your own capacity levels for big picture thinking?
Are you a PR firm that needs additional support on a client project but the level of work doesn’t constitute another full-time person?
Are you an event team who needs a public relations professional to ensure your event’s story is being told accurately and creatively?
I work with events and festivals in the entertainment, nonprofit, and cultural diversity realms as well as communications and marketing firms to help broaden the awareness of upcoming events, push ticket sales to the general public, increase attendance levels, and connect mission-driven events to authentic stories.
Here’s what I can assist you with:
managing media relations including pitching, responding to inquiries, coordination of interviews, and overall press strategy
designing and executing media and social influencer events including first looks, preview parties, and media days
strategic counsel on advertising investments such as digital and native ads, print ads, and Facebook and Instagram ads
overseeing social media including influencer campaigns, regular social engagement, and developing social calendars
providing creative design services working with a network of artists including videography, illustration, and graphic design
developing email lists into actionable audiences with high revenue potential or long-term value
Spending 10 years in the public relations field working for nonprofits, government agencies, celebrity fashion, music and entertainment, sports, and politics, I provide thought partnership and creative storytelling focused on human experiences to connect with emotions that drive action.
